Wayland at LUKE Air Force Base

Wayland Baptist University has been providing educational opportunities at Luke AFB since 1991. Our office at Luke AFB provides academic as well as financial advising to military member’s, their dependents, DOD employees, and civilians.

The office at Luke AFB is located in building 1150 (blockhouse) on the 3rd floor in room 3142.

Classes at Luke AFB are taught in bldg. 1150, room 3149, and at the Library on base located in bldg. 219.

Gate Closure – North Gate is closed until further notice.

ALL students taking classes at Luke AFB in building 1150 must enter and exit through the buildings EAST entrance

Attending classes at Luke AFB-

Due to security, policy at Luke Air Force Base dictates that all non-military affiliated students taking classes at Luke AFB have a background check. A base pass is required each term. Therefore, a request for Term Pass needs to be submitted to Wayland's Luke Office each time a student registers for a class at Luke AFB.

                 

 Instruction for non-military affiliated students who wish to attend classes located on Luke AFB.

NOTE: This process can take approximately one week, so please submit ALL the forms and documents as soon as possible.

Step 1- Complete Long Term Pass Application

            This is used to conduct a background check (BGC).

            Please complete, print, and sign and include copies of your

            social security card and driver license/pass port.

 

Step 2 - Send Long Term Pass Application and copied documents to

              Wayland’s Luke   AFB Attention: Debbie Daniels:

    • Faxing to – 623-935-7345
    • Give to Central Park Forest Office staff member.

 

Step 3- Request for Term Pass(this is a fillable form that can be email or printed)

             Submitted to Wayland’s Luke Office every time you enroll in a course at               Luke AFB.

 

After completing steps 1- 3 you will be notified by Wayland via your Wayland email account that you have been approved for base access.

 

Step 4 –Once you are notified that steps 1-3 are complete, go to the

             Luke AFB South Gate Visitor Center to obtain your term pass.

Driver’s license, proof of insurance and car registration are required at this time to receive a term pass.
