LUBBOCK CAMPUS
Wayland Baptist University - Lubbock was Wayland's first external campus established in 1973. Wayland was working in Lubbock through the Law Enforcement Education Program, a program that lost its funding in the late 1970's. Wayland remained in Lubbock with offices housed at Reese Air Force base, the courthouse, and the Wayland Plaza at 2002 W. Loop 289 and 19th Street. In December of 2006, Lubbock moved into its new campus at 807 N. Quaker. This is located on Quaker just off the west side of Loop 289.
Lubbock offers four 11 week terms.
Lubbock offers the following degrees: Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.), Bachelor of Christian Ministry (B.C.M.), Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (B.S.I.S.), Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education (B.S.O.E.), Master of Arts in Management (M.A.M.), Master of Arts in Religion (M.A.R.), Master of Christian Ministry (M.C.M.), Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), Master of Public Administration, (M.P.A.),and Master of Education (M.Ed.).
In 2004, Wayland entered an agreement with Hardin-Simmons University to offer the Master of Divinity program. Wayland is the only school in West Texas to offer the program.
The Lubbock campus is open to enrollment for any student over the age of 18. They do not offer any type of traditional university student facilities (dorms and dining).
