LUBBOCK—ACADEMICS
The academic offerings of the Lubbock campus mirror the standards of excellence you will find throughout the Wayland Baptist University system.
At the Lubbock campus, several degrees are offered. They include:
Academic Calendar
Programs at the Lubbock campus are delivered in four semesters each year, with each semester lasting 11 weeks. Classes generally meet once a week, Monday through Friday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 10:10 p.m., and on Saturday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 12:10 p.m.
Academic Advising
Students at the Lubbock campus have access to academic advising and counseling at the campus. Academic advisors are available for walk-ins at our campus location in Lubbock. New students will be assigned an academic advisor following the initial session.
New students seeking a preliminary degree plan should bring to the appointment copies of transcripts, CLEP, AARTS, DD Form 214 or DD Form 295, and certificates of all employer-based training they want to be evaluated for credit.
Make an appointment to have your credits evaluated and to determine the number of hours needed to complete your bachelor’s, or master’s.
Office hours at the Main Campus are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The office is closed on weekends and university holidays.
