WBU Lubbock Campus – Required Coursework

UNIV 1101 - Foundations of University Life- is mandatory for all Lubbock undergraduate students during their initial term of enrollment at Wayland Baptist University.  The course is designed to assist first-year students and those returning to the campus after an extended absence in developing skills and habits necessary to be successful in the university as well as the customs, traditions, policies, and procedures unique to WBU.


Winter Term - November 9th - February 13th

Spring Term - February 22nd - May 14th


Student Services On-Line Registration

Registration for the Spring term via Student Services will be available beginning at 2:00 pm, January 25, 2016 and will remain active until 5:00 p.m. February 19, 2016.  Student Services is the University’s web interface for the automated registration system. It provides access to your grades, financial assistance status, on-line payments, on-line transcript assistance and registration for courses. You are welcome to complete your registration in our computer lab during our regular business hours. We will have personnel available to assist you with this process.   First term students are also eligible to register using the Student Services system. We recommend that you review and print the detailed instructions on how to use the Student Services Registration System on the WBU website or in our campus office. Forget your password?  Click on the “I Forgot My Password” link and a new password will be automatically e-mailed to your WBU e-mail address.  Please check the “inbox” and “junk mail” folders.

*Late registration for face-to-face classes -February 22nd - 26th

Late registration available only through your advisor at the Lubbock campus.

Late registration for Virtual Campus classes is not allowed.


Student ID Cards

Student ID cards are required of all Wayland students. A current student ID is required for make-up exams, proctored exams, and to use the computer lab. Student ID cards are available Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm and Friday, 8:30 am to 11:30 am. Initial cost is $10.   Replacement Fee is $10.
