Spring III MGMT 3304.2 Principles of Management

 

Biography:

Mr. McMillen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Personnel Administration and Legal Studies, and a Master of Arts degree in Management from Wayland Baptist University. He also earned an Executive Certificate in Human Resource Management from Chaminade University of Honolulu.

Mr. McMillen enlisted in the Air Force immediately after graduating high school. He worked as a Personnel Administrator for eleven years and a paralegal for nine years. Mr. McMillen eventually retired in 1999 as a Law Office Manager. Since then, he has worked in higher education as an Academic Advisor, Program Director, and Instructor for Chaminade University, Honolulu Community College, and Wayland Baptist University. He started teaching Business and Management courses for WBU-Hawaii in the spring of 2003 and considers it a great honor and privilege.

When he is not teaching, Mr. McMillen enjoys weight lifting, golfing, scuba diving, and barbecues at the beach. He also enjoys traveling, going to the movies, dining out, dancing, and reading a good book from time to time. But most of all, Mr. McMillen treasures his walk with God and spending quality time with his wife and twin daughters.
