Wayland Baptist University – Hawaii campus is glad to announce that free Math and English tutoring services are now available. Starting on October 11th, 2012, specialized tutors will be available to assist you. Please refer to our quarterly calendar below for specific dates and times. While these tutoring sessions are free (up to 3 students per session), Kosasa Academy has agree to offer two extra hours per week at a reduced hourly rate of $10 for individualized tutoring sessions. Individualized tutoring sessions are limited to 2 hours per week total. It means students will be scheduled on a first-come first-serve basis for the individualized tutoring sessions. The individualized tutoring sessions can be arranged between the students and Kosasa Academy during different times and locations. 

Kosasa Academy

Kosasa Academy is Hawaii’s source for effective multisensory instruction and educational support. Kosasa Academy tutors are knowledgeable in their subject area and trained to teach you according to your unique learning style. Tutorials are available at the WBU’s Mililani Campus and in KA’s Pearl Ridge, Ward, Kailua (just outside the KMC back gate) locations. Call 808-258-3951 to make an appointment! Fall 2012 Tutoring Sessions calendar:

  • October 11th (Thursday from 3 to 5)
  • October 20th (Saturday from 9 to 11)
  • October 25th (Thursday from 3 to 5)
  • November 3rd (Saturday from 9 to 11)
  • November 8th (Thursday from 3 to 5)
  • November 17th (Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM) – This is the Saturday before thanks giving so I am adding the Thursday’s hours of that week to this Saturday.
  • November 29th (Thursday from 3 to 5)
  • December 8th (Saturday from 9 to 11)
  • December 13th (Thursday from 3 to 5). This is the last day of tutoring session of 2012. The tutoring sessions will resume on January 17th, 2013.
