GENERAL INFORMATION
Department of Education: Student Aid Guide- The Student Guide tells you about federal Student Financial Assistance (SFA) Programs and how to apply for them. Approximately two-thirds of all student financial aid comes from federal programs administered by the U.S. Department of Education. (PDF version only)

FAFSA4caster-This tool is designed to allow families to receive an early analysis of their potential financial-aid eligibility.  Students considering their payment options for postsecondary education would benefit from using the FAFSA4caster as it not only provides an early estimate of financial aid eligibility  but also reduces time required to submit the FAFSA by pre-populating nearly 1/2 of all questions asked on FAFSA on the Web.

Cutting Your Costs - A concise, easy to understand guide from NASFAA to help you in determining how much college will cost and how you will pay for it.

Title IV Aid Information through NSLDS - Department of Education web site giving students internet access to information about any Title IV aid they have received. A Personal Identification Number (PIN) is needed to access the site. Students who already have an Electronic Access Code (EAC) can use that code as a PIN. 

Department of Education PIN web site - Any student or former borrower will be able to obtain a PIN by registering at this site.  

Collegiate Funding - Scholarships, aid, grants, FAFSA filings, and other government deadlines are reviewed in detail. Additionally, a staff of counselors representing Collegiate Funding is available to discuss questions via the telephone.

LOAN INFORMATION
StudentLoans.gov- Access Department of Education Direct Loan information

SFA Ombudsman - You can contact the SFA Ombudsman, who is working with student loan borrowers to informally resolve loan disputes and problems.

Loan Entrance Interview - Complete the entrance interview required of all student borrowers. This will provide helpful information for you as a borrower regarding deferments, forbearance, cancellations, rights and responsibilities and consolidations.

Loan Exit Interview - Complete the exit interview required of all student borrowers. The information will assist you as you go into repayment by answering questions regarding deferments, forbearance, cancellations and consolidations.
