| Meet Danny Andrews |  |
Danny Andrews has served as Director of Alumni Development at Wayland since July 2006 after a 39-year career at the Plainview Daily Herald. A graduate of Plainview High School and Wayland Baptist University, he is a deacon, teaches a men’s Sunday school class and sings in the Worship Choir at First Baptist Church and leads the Coaches Outreach Bible Study at Wayland. He is a member of the Panhandle Press Association Hall of Fame and the Wayland Athletic Hall of Honor. His wife, Carolyn, is executive assistant to Wayland President Dr. Paul Armes. They have three grown children – all of whom attended Wayland – and two grandchildren.
