Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Complete your FAFSA college financial aid form as soon after January 1st as possible. Include Wayland Baptist University as a recipient of your financial aid application information. FAFSA college financial aid forms that are returned first get processed first, and receive the first share of federal money dedicated to each university. When that money runs out, you may end up not receiving federal financial aid, even if you qualify! Institutional Application for Financial Aid - These financial aid forms are required for all students attending the Plainview campus anticipating scholarships and financial aid.
2011-2012--Covers enrollment from August 2011 through July 2012.
2012-2013 - Covers enrollment from August 2012 through July 2013.
External Campus ONLY-Scholarship Application -- This financial aid form is required for all students attending a campus other than the Plainview campus, who anticipate scholarships and financial aid.
2011-2012 -- Covers enrollment from August 2011-2012.
2012-2013 - Covers enrollment from August 2012-2013.
Texas Core Residency Form This financial aid form is required for all first-time students that are residents of the state of Texas and will attend a Texas campus.

The Department of Education randomly selects student files for verification. WBU also reserves the right to select student files for verification. Such verification process requires that we request additional information.
Student's will be notified via WBU e-mail in regards to all financial aid needs/awards/instruction. Please be sure to activate your WBU e-mail account once you register for classes and are notified of instruction for doing so. Such instruction can also be found at http://www.wbu.edu/current_students/student_email/default.htm. Students who have not received a WBU e-mail account will be e-mailed at the address provided on the Institutional Application for Financial Aid or FAFSA.

Verification Worksheet -- This document is required for all students selected for verification.
2011-2012 -- Covers enrollment from August 2011 through July 2012.
2012-2013 - For DEPENDENT students, covers enrollment from August 2012 through July 2013.

This financial aid form is for those students/spouse/parents who were not required to file an income tax return but had some income.

Faculty & Staff or Dependent Tuition Scholarship
This financial aid form is to be used to certify the eligibility of a Faculty or Staff member to receive the tuition scholarship for themselves or their dependents based on the criteria set forth in The Policy and Procedures Manual of Wayland Baptist University.
2011-2012 -- Covers enrollment from August 2011 through July 2012.
2012-2013 -Covers enrollment from August 2012 through July 2013.
Return of Loan Request
This financial aid form is used to return funds back to a lender and prevent future interest charges on the loan amount borrowed.
2011-2012 -- Covers enrollment from August 2011 through July 2012.
2012-2013 - Covers enrollment from August 20121 through July 2013.
Special Circumstances
This financial aid form is used to request that a financial aid administrator utilize the borrowing family's current year income instead of the federally stipulated previous year's income. This type of consideration may be necessary due to a special circumstance the family is facing, such as economic hardship, or other extenuating factors.

Satisfactory Progress (Financial Aid Suspension) Appeal
This financial aid form allows you to submit an appeal if you have failed to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements. By submitting this appeal, you are requesting that your extenuating or unusual circumstance be considered in order to have your financial aid reinstated.

2012-2013 - Covers enrollment from August 2012 through July 2013.
Summer Budget Worksheet
This worksheet allows you to communicate your enrollment plans for summer term(s) to your campus financial aid administrator in order that Summer funds can be awarded. This document is specifically designed for students who have not previously been awarded aid for the summer term(s).
