Financial Aid

Thank you for inquiring into the financial aid process here at Wayland Baptist University! In order to ensure a successful outcome, it's important to understand the process as well as the necessary documentation required to complete the process.

To qualify for financial aid you must be a degree-seeking student at Wayland and be enrolled at least half-time. Half-time enrollment consists of 6 semester hours.  There is additional information found at the main Financial Aid website.

The first step to apply for Financial Aid is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at

The following list is comprised of required documentation a student needs to submit to the Fairbanks Campus. Please make sure there are no mistakes and all information is accurate. Inaccurate information can slow down the application process. Only when the financial aid packet is complete, will it be sent it to Wayland's main campus for verification.

If you feel there are special circumstances that need to be included in your financial aid information (i.e. divorce/separation, childcare, lower income, social security benefits, etc.), please contact the Fairbanks Campus.

It is in your best interest to complete your file ASAP. Please note that you are not eligible for aid until your ACADEMIC FILE is complete. If you have questions regarding your academic file, please contact your academic advisor. Forms that need to be submitted to financial aid may be turned in at any Wayland Baptist University office or may be mailed. Once your file is complete, it will be sent to the Main Campus in Plainview, Texas.
