Master of Education in Instructional Leadership

The Master of Education in Instructional Leadership is designed to enhance the preparation and skills of individuals within the education profession.  Those who wish to further their careers in education and advance into leadership positions will find the programs helpful in preparing them for the next level of education.

  • Prerequisites - not required
  • Dissertation  - not required
  • Fully regionally accredited (SACS)
  • Competitively priced; financial aid/TA/VA available
  • Flexible hybrid format: some classes on-line, some in residence; you can complete the degree on-line, if necessary
  • Resident classes include hybrids, seminars, and evening classes 1 night a week.
  • Resident classes may be offered at Eielson AFB, North Pole, and   Ft. Wainwright
  • 36 graduate hours; satisfactorily completing two classes per term, you will complete the degree in approximately 1 ½ years – 18 months - WBU has 4 terms a year!
  • You may start at the next term; all of your transcripts do not have to be received before you  begin
