IRS Transcript - When verification is required for a student, the IRS Transcript must be sent in by the parent and/or student.

Title IV Aid Information through NSLDS - Department of Education web site giving students internet access to information about any Title IV aid they have received. A Personal Identification Number (PIN) is needed to access the site. Students who already have an Electronic Access Code (EAC) can use that code as a PIN.

Department of Ed FSA ID web site - Effective May 12, 2015 any student, parent or former borrower will be able to obtain a FSA ID by registering at this site.

College Board - Educational source provided for parents, students and educators aimed at providing up-to-date and useful information while preparing for your college experience. Has some FAFSA help documents. - Designed by students for students, this site features first-person accounts of students who overcame challenges to going to college such as peer pressure, lack of family support, and financial barriers. It provides
relevant, comprehensive information about why to go, how to go, FAFSA help topics, and how to pay for college or other post secondary education programs. Young people who may not have considered higher education a viable
option will be engaged, informed, and inspired to create their own "roadmap" to college. Great portal for FAFSA help.

Texas State Financial Aid - Wayland participates in the Texas Tuition Equalization Grant state program that supplements financial need at a private university for students who are determined to be TX residents.

College Scorecard-  A planning tool and resource to assist prospective students and their families as they evaluate options in selecting a school.

College Navigator-  A consumer tool that provides school information to include tuition and fees, retention and graduation rates, use of financial aid, student loan default rates and features a cost calculator and school comparison tool.

Paying for College Can be used by prospective students to enter the names of up to three schools and receive detailed financial information on each one and to enter actual financial aid award information.

SRN Express Free Scholarship Search - A comprehensive database for undergraduate and postgraduate students. This site also contains information on student loan forgiveness programs for those needing alternatives to repayment.

Scholarships Online - The Internet version of the Minnie Stevens Piper Foundation publication, Compendium of Texas Colleges and Financial Aid Calendar. A listing of all Texas colleges and universities, public and private,
with information on admission requirements, costs, financial aid, application deadlines and scholarships available to Texas students. A good FAFSA help source. - scholarship opportunities for bachelor degree students. academic scholarships. Scholarship Zone provides $10,000 scholarships as well as degree and program information to help you achieve your goals. $4,000 per semester to a student that has dealt with cancer, personally or within their family.


FAFSA HELP GUIDE: LOAN INFORMATION - Access Department of Education Direct Loan information

SFA Ombudsman - You can contact the SFA Ombudsman, who is working with student loan borrowers to informally resolve loan disputes and problems. Get FAFSA help, rehabilitate a loan, or even discharge a loan.

Loan Entrance Counseling - Complete the entrance counseling required of all student borrowers. This will provide helpful information for you as a borrower regarding deferments, forbearance, cancellations, rights and responsibilities, and consolidations.

Loan Exit Counseling - Complete the exit interview required of all student borrowers. The information will assist you as you go into repayment by answering questions regarding deferments, forbearance, cancellations, and consolidations. Deferment Information- Sometimes even the best-laid plans to repay your student loans can be affected by life's changes. If you find it necessary to temporarily postpone repayment of your student loans, you can do so by applying for a deferment.
