| RESPONSIBILITIES: | The Head Wrestling Coach requires all functions normally associated with an intercollegiate athletics program in wrestling and will be bound by the university and the athletic department mission statements. This position may teach in the School of Education and Exercise & Sport Science or have other related duties. |
SPECIFIC TASKS AND DUTIES: |
1. Coaching and management of all practice sessions. 2. Recruiting quality student athletes. 3. Knowledge and adherence of NAIA rules. 4. Monitor teams’ academic performance. 5. Scheduling of matches and related events. 6. Budget management and organization. 7. Purchase and maintain equipment and supplies. 8. Event preparations. 9. Campus and community relations. 10. Marketing and development of the program. 11 Supervision of assistant coach and student coaches.

QUALIFICATIONS: |

Academic: |
Master’s Degree applicants will be given top priority. |
Experience & Knowledge: |
College level playing and/or head coaching experience is preferred. |

1. A commitment to a Christian lifestyle and coaching from a Christian perspective is essential. 2. Individuals who apply should have proven integrity, leadership skills, and the ability to motivate students to be successful academically and athletically. |
Additional Requirements: |
Must be able to pass background check which may include Credit Check. |
