Anchorage Campus
Requirements: Regionally accredited doctoral degree or equivalent terminal degree with 18 graduate hours in counseling.
Would be teaching graduate courses in counseling toward a masters in counseling degree and professional counseling license.

Wayland Baptist University - Anchorage was established in 1985 with 12 students and has seen consistent growth. In 2006, the Anchorage campus moved to a new location at 7801 E. 32nd Ave at the corner of E. 32nd Ave. and Old Muldoon Road. We also have campuses in Wasilla, Ft. Richardson Army Post, and Elmendorf AFB.
Anchorage offers four 11 week terms.
Degrees offered in Anchorage are: Associate of Applied Science, Bachelor of Applied Science, Bachelor of Business Administration , Bachelor of Christian Ministry, Master of Education/Secondary Education, Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts in Counseling, Master of Arts in History, Master of Arts in English, Master of Arts in Management, Master of Education in Elementary Education, Master of Public Administration(online), and Master of Christian Ministry and Post-baccalaureate teacher certification program.
We meet the needs of military students by providing resources and services at Elmendorf Air Force Base and Ft. Richardson Army Post.
The Anchorage campus is open to enrollment for any student over the age of 18. As an external campus for Wayland Baptist University we may not have many of the facilities of a traditional campus (i.e., dorms and dining).
