Students desiring to enter the undergraduate program must submit the following documents:

  • A completed application for admission.
  • $35 application fee (non-refundable).
  • A credit agreement.
  • A request for evaluation of credits.
  • Official transcripts from each institution attended. A transcript is official if received directly by the external campus office directly from the issuing institution. It must bear the college seal, date and appropriate signature. Hand-carried transcripts are considered official only if they are presented to Wayland in a sealed letterhead envelope from the issuing institution.
  • Application files will not be evaluated until all of the above requirements have been met.

New students with more than 24 transfer hours of college credit from approved sources do not need to submit a high school transcript or GED. If a student has less than 24 hours of transfer credit, an official transcript of the secondary school work from a secondary school program equivalent to the 12th grade in the United States, written in English, is required. If the student is less than 22 years of age at time of enrollment and has less than 24 hours of transferable credit, an official ACT test score must be submitted.

Students who are not citizens of the United States must meet all government requirements before being admitted to the University, and must provide the University with copies of all necessary documentation as required by the University.

Wayland provides two categories of undergraduate admissions: Degree-Seeking and Non-Degree-Seeking. Each category has a number of admission options.
