Tory Bryant is in his first year as head coach of the Flying Queens. Bryant came to the Queens after three years as coach of Trinity Christian High School in Lubbock, winning two state titles in three trips to the finals. Bryant has also served as assistant coach at the University of Texas at Arlington and as assistant coach at Lubbock Christian University and West Texas A&M University.
Rusty Rainbolt is in his first year as assistant coach of the Flying Queens. Rainbolt began his coaching career as an assistant to Bryant at Trinity High School in Lubbock. He then spent a year as a graduate assistant at Hardin Simmons University prior to making the move to Wayland.
At the Flying Queens Camps, coach Bryant’s staff will instruct and assist in supervision of the campers. The campers will learn from these outstanding coaches.
The Flying Queens players will serve as dorm counselors and instructors. They will give individualized instruction to each camper and will coach the campers and teams during tournament play each evening. Campers and staff will also participate in daily devotionals.
What to Bring
All campers should bring: Sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, toiletries, casual clothing, shorts, basketball shoes, socks and spending money for concessions. All campers receive a camp t-shirt. Those attending fundamentals camps will also receive a Queens basketball.
