Pioneer's First Meet Goes the Wrong Way
The men’s race at the Mike Boit Invitational, held at Ned Houk Park in Clovis was not scored because of an error on the course. Apparently, the race participants veered off the measured course and did not run the full distance. The Pioneers were ranked 28th in the NAIA’s preseason poll.
The men’s and women’s teams will compete once again on Saturday, September 9 at the Greyhound Invitational in Albuquerque.
