PIONEERS MOVE INTO NAIA TOP 25

The Pioneers have broken into the NAIA's top 25 for the first time this season. Coming off their third place performance at last Saturday's Cowboy Jamboree, the WBU men climbed to 18th in the NAIA Ratings for the week of October 3.

Vincent Tanui and Nimrod Lelei finished 1-2 in the small college division of the event hosted by Oklahoma State University.  As a team, the Pioneers were just eight points behind first place winner Angelo State University and just three points in back of conference rival Oklahoma Baptist, who was rated 16th prior to the meet.  OBU and WBU are the only two schools from Region VI represented in the poll.
