Background: CNA- James Rumsey Vo-Tech, AAS Pierce College; BSOE-Science Studies, Wayland Baptist University. I served as President of Alaska's Woman's Missionary Union for five years, and as a Vice-President of National Woman's Missionary Union. I arrived at WBU-Valley Center, September 2004.

Academic Interest: Christian ministry and leadership.

Personal Statement: I became a Christian when I was fifteen years old. My husband, Tom, our son, Thomas, and I moved to Alaska in 1990, while Tom was serving in the USAF. We followed God's call into ministry and in 1996 began serving at Fairview Loop Baptist Church, in beautiful Wasilla, Alaska. I am eternally grateful to God for his provision in my life and His unfailing love and grace. I want to be used by God to touch others. I try to see each day as a gift and a "mission trip" to wherever I am going that particular day. I want my life to honor and bring glory to God.

Other Interests/hobbies: Bible Study, fishing and camping with my family, music, poetry, and walking our dog, Elijah.
