The academic offerings of the Anchorage campus mirror the standards of excellence you will find throughout the Wayland Baptist University system.

Academic Calendar
Programs at the Anchorage campus are delivered in four semesters each year, with each semester lasting 11 weeks. Classes generally meet once a week, Monday through Friday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and on Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Academic Advising
Students at the Anchorage campus have access to academic advising and counseling at the Parkside Site, at the Valley Center Site, Elmendorf Air Force Base Site, and Fort Richardson Army Base Site. Academic advisors generally work by appointment, although walk-ins are welcomed. New students will be assigned an academic advisor following the initial session.

New students seeking a preliminary degree plan should bring to the appointment copies of transcripts, CLEP, AARTS, DD Form 214 or DD Form 295, and certificates of all employer-based training they want to be evaluated for credit.

Make an appointment to have your credits evaluated and to determine the number of hours needed to complete your associate, bachelor’s, or master’s.

The main Parkside Site is open daily during the work week.
