Brittany L. Sogge, Media Resources Manager
Background: In June 2010, I moved to Anchorage, Alaska. I moved from the only place south of Alaska that’s colder, North Dakota. My family, who I hold dear to my heart, is still in North Dakota. My dad farms and maintains the roads. My mom is an office manager for a construction company. I have two brothers, both of whom have beautiful wives, and I have the most adorable niece and nephews.
Academic: I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in management here at Wayland and will be done May 2013. I will continue on to pursue an MBA in the fall.
Personal Statement: I accepted the Lord as my personal savior when I was a young child and I continually grow closer to Him each and every day. God has blessed me with so many things including a great family, friends, beautiful scenery every day here in Alaska, the wildlife, and much more. When I moved to Anchorage I was blessed with the first job I applied for, Bookstore Coordinator at Wayland Baptist University.
Other Interests/hobbies: I like fishing, hiking, snowboarding, longboarding, and cross-country skiing.
