FINANCIAL AID NEWS:
Are you needing help to pay for tuition and books? Then come by the Financial Aid office to fill out the 2008-2009 Financial Aid forms. You can also fill out the forms online at www.wbu.edu. You must fill out the FAFSA, the Institutional Application, the Verification Worksheet and the Texas Core Residency form. Please include copies of your 2007 W2s and signed Tax Return form.
Direct Deposit is available for Students. If you receive a refund check, you can have the check deposited directly into your checking or savings account. Come by the office to fill out the form. You must provide a voided check or deposit slip with the form. Only the student can fill out the form, no spouse or parent can fill out the information for you. If you decide to receive a check instead, only the student can pick up the check. No parent or spouse can pick up the check, we must have your signature on file.
BUSINESS OFFICE NEWS:
If you need help with your payment and are not receiving Financial Aid, be sure to sign up for our Payment Plan. 1/3 of the payment will be due upon registering. MAKE SURE YOUR ACCOUNT IS PAID OFF BEFORE REGISTRATION OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REGISTER.
If you need your grades or receipt sent to your employer please stop by Sarah Artho's office to fill out a release form. The form must be filled out, signed by the student and turned into Sarah's office as soon as possible.
Wayland Baptist University will no longer be mailing out statements to students showing the balance that is due for the term. You can look up this information on your "IQ Web" account at www.wbu.edu.

INFORMATION ABOUT “IQ Web”
You can access your grades, account balance, and even your unofficial transcript on Wayland’s “IQ Web” without stepping a foot outside of your home.
Registration online is now available, be sure to check your degree plan and with your advisor on the classes. You can also start making payments towards your balance throughout the semester with a credit card. If you are Financial Aid or VA, please check with the business office and/or the financial aid advisor.
Go to www.wbu.edu and on the bottom of the home page, click on “IQ Web”. Click on the blue "Request Access" button to start the process. Enter your last name, your student ID number, your birth date, and other information that is requested. Your password is a password you can create. Be sure it is a password you can remember and others cannot figure out.
Feel free to call our offices if you need help or if you’re not sure what your student ID number is.
Please try not to come by the office for your grades unless it is needed for a job reimbursement. Remember, it’s as easy as knowing your nine-digit student ID and your password!
