MASTER OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION (M.P.A.)
The Master of Public Administration is designed to prepare both the public and non-public employees for a career and/or promotion in administration with the choice of either governmental or justice administration fields.
Admission Requirements(In Addition to Those Listed for All Graduate
Students) - Applicants interested in the M.P.A. program must first present a completed baccalaureate degree, preferably but not limited to, the social or behavioral sciences. Applicants must also submit a personal statement as to what they expect to gain from completing the program, and applicants must submit a second writing sample that would indicate their potential for graduate level research.
Course Requirements - 37 hours are required including 19 core hours and 18 hours
of specialization courses in governmental or justice administration.
