Academic Calendar
Programs at the Altus campus are delivered in four semesters each year, with each semester lasting 11 weeks. Classes generally meet once a week, Monday through Thursday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 9:40 p.m., and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Academic Advising
Students at the Altus campus have access to academic advising and counseling during office hours. Academic advisors are available for walk-ins at our campus in Altus. New students not assigned to a military base may wish to use the walk-in option or call to make an appointment. New students will be assigned an academic advisor following the initial session.

New students seeking a preliminary degree plan should bring to the appointment copies of transcripts, CLEP, DANTES, AARTS, DD Form 214 or DD Form 295, and certificates of all employer-based training they want to be evaluated for credit. Make an appointment to have your credits evaluated and to determine the number of hours needed to complete your associate, bachelor’s, or master’s.
