STEPS TO APPLY
TRANSFER STUDENTS
To be admitted after attending another, college or university a student must:
1. Apply for Admission. Students must be eligible for re-admission to the last school attended. Online applications are available under Apply Now.
2. Pay an application fee $35 for undergraduate degree-seeking students (non-refundable).
No fee for non-degree seeking students.
3. Order Transcripts. Transfer applicants must submit official transcripts from all post secondary institutions attended. Transfer applicants with less than 24 transferable hours must also submit an official high school transcript showing graduation. ACT/SAT Scores. All transfer students who are pursing the completion of a degree and transferring less than 24 hours must submit an official copy of either the ACT or SAT Test scores.
4. Complete other forms in the office.
ENTERING FRESHMEN
Application for Admission. Compete and submit the University's formal application form.

Application fee $35 (non-refundable). An application fee is required from every candidate
pursing a degree or wishing to enroll in classes at the Albuquerque Campus.
Transcripts. Students having complete their junior year of high school may be
considered for conditional admission prior to high school graduation. In order to
be considered, students must submit an official transcript, which shows grades
through at least six semesters. Upon graduation from high school, such students
must submit a final official transcript showing competition of high school requirements.
ACT/SAT Scores. Wayland Codes: ACT = 4246 * SAT = 6930
All freshman applicants who are pursing the completion of a degree must submit
an official copy of either the ACT or SAT test scores.
FINANCIAL AID
1. Those students applying for federal/state aid should submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon after Jan 1 as possible. Include Wayland as a recipient of the information. (WBU code=003663) www.fafsa.ed.gov.
2. All students should submit the Wayland General Application for Financial Aid to the Office of Financial Aid. Online applications for financial aid are available.
