Telephone service is available in every room with no installation charge to the student. Students must provide their own phone (tone-dial units only). Wayland offers a competitive long-distance service.

Calling cards and outgoing collect calls also are permissible.

Coin-operated washers and dryers are available in every residence hall.
Residents can obtain quarters at any one of the nearby banks.
Cable television hook-ups are available in every room.
Cable service can be purchased by students through the local Suddenlink office located at 2301 5th Street.

Snack and drink machines are located near each lobby area.

all resident hall rooms.
All resident halls are supervised by a Resident Housing Supervisor (RHS) and Resident Assistants (RA).
These Housing Staff personnel work to provide a safe, comfortable, fun and education friendly environment to
each student living in their facility. They are supervised by the Housing Department.
Davis Hall, Ferguson Hall , Fleming-Mays Tower, Owen, and Pioneer Hall have carpeted rooms.
Open Dorms for Summer months are Caprock and Davis
Appliances are limited to a microwave not to exceed 600 watts and
a small refrigerator not to exceed 4.7 cubic feet. Crock pots are allowed.
Resident Halls are tobacco and alcohol free facilities.
