Work-study Classifications

1. Federal College Work-Study – is a federally funded program established to provide jobs for students who have demonstrated financial need documented by the Financial Aid Office.

2. Institutional Work-Study- is an institutionally funded program with funds being paid by Wayland only.

The term -“work-study” does not mean a student is paid to study on the job. Each department is allotted Institutional funds each year in the amount of their approved request on budgets.
