Grants are gift aid provided by the Federal or State government and are usually based on a student’s financial need. A student’s financial aid package may include grant money whenever eligibility and funding levels permit. In order to determine eligibility, students must complete the FAFSA and any required Wayland Baptist University documents. |

Federal Pell Grant: Pell Grant is federal financial aid awarded to undergraduate students based upon financial need, the costs to attend school, your status s a full-time or part-time student and your plans to attend school for a full academic year or less. Submission of the FAFSA financial aid form and other supporting documentation is required in order to be awarded such funds. |

Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG): SEOG grants are federal financial aid for undergraduates with exceptional financial need. Pell Grant recipients with the lowest expected family contributions (EFCs) will be considered first for a FSEOG |
