FAFSA4caster- This tool is designed to allow families to receive an early analysis of their potential financial-aid eligibility.  Students considering their payment options for postsecondary education would benefit from using the FAFSA4caster as it not only provides an early estimate of financial aid eligibility  but also reduces time required to submit the FAFSA by pre-populating nearly 1/2 of all questions asked on FAFSA on the Web.

FinAid: The Financial Aid Information Page - A comprehensive, independent, and objective guide to student financial aid.  EFC calculator available here.

Cash for College - A concise, easy to understand guide from NASFAA to help you in determining how much college will cost and how you will pay for it.

Title IV Aid Information through NSLDS - Department of Education web site giving students internet access to information about any Title IV aid they have received. A Personal Identification Number (PIN) is needed to access the site. Students who already have an Electronic Access Code (EAC) can use that code as a PIN.

Department of Ed PIN web site - Beginning spring of 2000, any student or former borrower will be able to obtain a PIN by registering at this site.

Collegiate Funding - Scholarships, aid, grants, FAFSA filings, and other government deadlines are reviewed in detail. Additionally, a staff of counselors representing Collegiate Funding is available to discuss questions via the telephone.

College Board- Educational source provided for parents, students and educators aimed at providing up to date and useful information while preparing for your college experience.

www.college.gov- Designed by students for students, this site features first-person accounts of students who overcame challenges to going to college such as peer pressure, lack of family support, and financial barriers.  It provides relevant, comprehensive information about why to go, how to go, and how to pay for college or other postsecondary education programs.  Young people who may not have considered higher education a viable option will be engaged, informed, and inspired to create their own "roadmap" to college.
