JOE VANDIVER

Joseph Vandiver, Assistant Professor of Instrumental Studies at Wayland Baptist University. His duties include the applied instruction in high brass as well as directing the Wayland Jazz Ensemble and Basketball Pep Band. He holds Bachelor of Music and Masters of Music degrees in Trumpet Performance from Texas Tech University under the tutelage of Will Strieder. While at Texas Tech he was recognized with the award of Outstanding Musician and was a member of the Faculty Brass Quintet.
Mr. Vandiver is a member of the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra and has performed with the Santa Fe Pro Musica, New Mexico Symphony Orchestra, Roswell Symphony, Midland-Odessa Symphony, Abilene Opera, Plainview Symphony, Lubbock Moonlight Musicals, Caprock Pro Musica and the Big Spring Symphony. He is an active chamber musician, soloist and clinician throughout Texas.
