AUDITION REPERTOIRE
Repertoire for the admission should generally be selected from traditional solo literature. Music prepared for public school state Solo and Ensemble or All-State contest is appropriate. The following represents examples of acceptable audition repertoire as well as repertoire that may be studied while enrolled at WBU.

SUGGESTED REPERTOIRE

• Solo works from state approved solo lists, for example, the UIL prescribed music list.
• In addition to solo literature, students should play exercises or études from their current All-District or All-State Audition lists.
• Students may be asked to perform scales and sight-reading exercises.

Scholarships are competitive and students should be prepared to display both their technical and musical abilities.
