Field trips are offered in both the Fall and Spring semesters as instructional tools. Students take various local trips through the semester to help enhance their learning experiences. For courses like Field Geology, GEOL 4302, and Field Methods in Geology, GEOL 4301, extended trips are offered so students can have the opportunitiy to learn how to use field instruments and how to apply these methods for reports.
