F for the course. Therefore if you are absent a total of 8 class periods, you will
receive a grade of F regardless of your academic standing. TARDIES: Roll
will be taken at the beginning of class. If you arrive after attendance has been taken,
you must make a point to see your instructor after class so that you are marked as

after class will result in an absence being recorded. Note: 2 tardies = 1 absence.
PARTICIPATION: Students are expected to attend and participate in class discussions. Points will be taken off your attendance grade for not participating in class discussions.
