Resetting Exams in Blackboard


It is the Policy of the Virtual Campus Department to not re-set exams or quizzes for students. If you have been locked out of a quiz/exam and need to have it reset, you will need to contact your instructor. There are several ways to contact your Instructor using Blackboard.


    Contacting Your Instructor

  • Check Your Syllabus. Most instructors provide their contact information for students in the course syllabus

  • Email Your Instructor using the email function in Blackboard

    Using the Blackboard Email Function

  1. While in your Course, click on the "Communication" Menu on the left side of the Screen
  2. Select "Send Email"
  3. Select the Intended Recipient (All Instructor Users)
  4. Type in your Message subject and your Message, then click Submit
  5. You should receive a copy of the email at the email address on file in Blackboard
