Blackboard Browser Test

The Wayland Baptist University Blackboard system has a few requirements to work properly.
Use this page to check whether you have a recommended browser and the required plug ins and features installed or enabled.

Fail If this check fails, refer to the Browser Settings Guide for instructions on enabling Javascript for your browser.
 
Cookies
Check
Fail If this check fails, refer to the Browser Settings Guide for instructions on enabling Cookies for your browser.
 
Popup
Window
Check
Fail If this check fails, refer to the Browser Settings Guide for instructions on enabling Popup Windows for your browser.
 
Port 80
Check
Fail This check works by trying to download an image through the specified port.  Port 80 is the standard web (http) port.
 
Java Check Warning

With the latest update to Java, you are now required to visit the Java Website to verify that you are running the latest version of Java:

Visit http://java.com/en/download/installed.jsp

Then click Verify Java Version
