Class Cancellation/Makeup

All classes must be held where and when scheduled, including holidays, except for field trips and makeup classes. Any change must be coordinated with the Campus Dean before the fact, and written notification made. If you must cancel a class session because of adverse weather or illness, notify the Campus Dean or Division Chair as soon as possible. You are responsible to notify your class members when the class is not going to meet. You may want to set up a telephone chain notification system to do this.

A makeup class must be held for every canceled scheduled class meeting regardless of the reason for cancellation. Again, be sure to notify the Campus Dean or the Division Chair of the makeup class, time and place.
