MASTER OF EDUCATION

Offered online through the School of Education, the MED offers five specializations. Each of these programs can be completed in 18 months. Specializations include Instructional Leadership, Instructional Technology, Higher Education, Special Education and Educational Administration. These degrees are designed for students new to Wayland and all courses required for the degrees are available online. Admission RequirementsProspective students must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Students desiring to enter the graduate program must submit the following documents:
Additionally, candidates for the Principalship certification must hold a valid teaching license and be able to have taught a total of three years by the end of their studies in the degree program. Candidates for the Special Education specialization must take the academic skills requirement for the teacher certification program. |
The Virtual Campus makes available online all the general information needed by students of the Degree Program Online. Any questions having to do with the Graduate Program procedures may be addressed to the Graduate Studies Office at 1-877-844-4544.
