DONATIONS

 

Yes we are looking for a handout!  However, we are a very active group and are currently fundraising for two purposes.

We are planning to attend the National Meeting of the ACS in New Orleans in Spring 2008.  The last time we attended a national meeting, it was an incredible learning experience for the members that were able to go.  We are actively fundraising for this trip.  Your support in this area could enable a student to attend who otherwise would be unable to go.

The other project we are currently raising funds for is the Harold and Audrey Temple Endowed Scholarship in chemistry.  When this scholarship is fully endowed, it will perpetually provide scholarship funds to Wayland chemistry students.  Contributing to this scholarhip is a great way to honor Dr. and Mrs. Temples' contributions to Wayland while supporting future Wayland chemistry students.

Donations to the SAACS can be directed to Dr. Joel Boyd.  Undesignated donations to the SAACS will be apportioned to each of the above projects.
