The purpose of the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness is to provide accurate, timely and appropriate research, analysis and consultation needed for planning and decision making to improve the institution and in response to requests made by external accrediting bodies and organizations.

Intended Unit Outcomes  

• Maintain accurate, timely and appropriate research, analysis, consultation and communication to serve the university community.
• Guide the university towards compliance with the Southern Association Principles for Accreditation.

• Utilize Wayland's planning, budgeting, and effectiveness program for continued improvement of the university.
